A week or so ago, I wrote about how I could not live without coffee here. Then again, I wrote about the most effective and keto-friendly coffee replacement. Some of you reached out and told me how it’s not the same; how you still prefer a steaming hot cup of coffee and sipping instead of chewing. I can totally relate!
This is not to say that my recommended coffee alternative does not come in highly-recommended, because it is. In fact, a lot of you have also told me how convenient and easy it is to take. There is no need to wait for it to cool, or to head to the kitchen or pantry just to get a cup because it can be conveniently kept anywhere since it is individually packed.
However, to lend an ear to my dear readers who still prefer their hot cuppa joe, yours truly decided to go and search for the best keto-friendly coffee mix. I figured that the middle ground between a good cup of coffee and convenience is a coffee mix. All you need to do is add hot water, and voila!
Finding a coffee mix that will help you reach ketosis and burn fat was such a fun experience. I had to try out a few products in a span of two weeks to see which one worked best for me in terms of taste and how I felt after. After careful deliberation, I easily chose Tokelau Coffee Packets. That alone made a really good impression on me. As important as that is to me, the certification is not the only thing I am after. I had to taste it and see how it affects me. After my order arrived, I decided to wait another 24 hours to make sure that the remnants of the previous coffee I tested are completely out of my system.
The following morning, there was no need to bust out the coffee maker. All I had to do was tear the coffee packet and add hot water. I stirred and took a whiff of it. The coffee scent that we, coffee lovers, love so dearly is present. When I took my first sip, I noticed that it was a little oily, but nothing my plant-based milk could not fix. It is safe to say that I lasted 2 and a half hours longer than I normally did.
